These terms govern your use of NotionProof. By signing in with Notion and using the service, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.
What NotionProof does
NotionProof reads testimonial-style entries from a Notion database you connect, and renders them as an embeddable widget you can paste on any website. We never modify your Notion content.
Your account
- You authenticate through Notion. Don't share your Notion account.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country (at least 13, often older).
- You're responsible for what's in your connected Notion databases.
What you may not do
- Use NotionProof to display content you don't have rights to.
- Display content that's illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape our service, or interfere with other users.
- Use the service to host a malware payload or phishing widget.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We try to notify you first, but for serious violations we may act immediately.
Subscriptions and billing
- Every account starts with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, the Pro subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by DodoPayments. We don't see your card details.
- Prices are shown in USD on the pricing page. Local currency, taxes and VAT are handled by DodoPayments as merchant of record.
Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel anytime from your dashboard or via the DodoPayments customer portal. You keep paid features until the end of the current billing period, then drop to Free.
- Refund within 14 days of the first paid charge if the service didn't work for you — just email us.
Data ownership
Your testimonials are yours. They live in your Notion, not in our database. If you cancel or we shut down the service, your data is unaffected — you can keep using Notion or move to another tool with zero migration.
You grant us a limited, revocable license to read the Notion database(s) you connect, solely for the purpose of rendering your widgets. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including training models.
Availability
We aim for high uptime but do not offer a formal SLA on the Pro plan. Widgets are designed to serve stale cached data when our upstream (Notion) has issues, so visitor experience usually degrades gracefully.
Disclaimer of warranties
NotionProof is provided "as is." We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to NotionProof is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may change features, pricing, or these terms. If we make a material change to terms or pricing, we'll email active users at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where NotionProof operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
