Embed Notion testimonials on Squarespace

Squarespace's Code block runs the NotionProof snippet directly. Your testimonials stay in Notion; the wall on your Squarespace page updates itself whenever you edit them.

Heads up: Code blocks with scripts require Squarespace's Business plan or higher (Squarespace's rule for custom code).

Pricing

NotionProof is $5/mo (or $50/yr) with a 3-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Step by step

  1. 1

Connect your Notion database to NotionProof

Sign in at notionproof.com with Notion (one click), pick the database that holds your testimonials — or duplicate our free template — and NotionProof auto-detects your columns (name, quote, photo, rating, video).

  2. 2

    Copy your one-line embed code

Pick a layout (Wall, Carousel, or Floating), tweak colors if you like, and copy the snippet. It looks like this and it's the same for every platform — only where you paste it changes.

  3. 3

    Add a Code block

Edit your page, click an insert point (+), and choose Code from the block menu (under More).

  4. 4

    Paste as HTML and save

Make sure the block type is HTML (default), paste your NotionProof snippet, apply, and save the page. The widget renders on the live site — Squarespace's editor preview shows a placeholder.

The snippet (same on every platform)

<script src="https://notionproof.com/embed.js" data-id="YOUR_EMBED_ID" async></script>

Tips for Squarespace

  • In section-based templates (7.1), give the section full width and let the Wall layout fill it.
  • The widget won't inherit your Squarespace fonts (shadow DOM) — pick matching colors in NotionProof's theme editor instead.
  • If you use Squarespace's AJAX page loading and the widget doesn't render on internal navigation, disable Ajax loading in Site Styles.

Squarespace + NotionProof FAQ

Why doesn't the widget show in the Squarespace editor?

Squarespace sandboxes scripts inside the editor. Check the published page — that's where the Code block actually executes.

Do I need the Business plan?

For any script-based embed on Squarespace, yes — that's Squarespace's custom-code policy, not ours.
